Go Nude is 98% naturally derived, with a very small percentage of carefully selected functional ingredients that are there because we want natural cleaning that actually works.
Because the whole reason we started Go Nude was to clean the yucky stuff out of our homes — without filling them back up with an overpowering chemical cloud.

What is in
- Plant-derived surfactants. These are the hardworking bit. Surfactants help lift grease, grime and dirt from a surface so you can actually wipe it away. We use plant-derived Coco-Glucoside and Decyl Glucoside alongside a mild surfactant, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate.
- A small amount of alcohol. Ethanol helps our surface cleaners cut through mess and dry quickly. It has a job, so it earns its place in the formula.
- Pure essential oils. Lemon Myrtle, Sweet Orange, Blue Gum Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Peppermint and Pine. Real botanical scents that make cleaning feel fresh and uplifting, rather than like walking into a cloud of synthetic perfume.
- Water (you add later). We make concentrates so we don’t need to sell and ship you bottle after bottle of mostly water. You add the water at home, keep your beautiful Go Nude bottle and refill it again.
What is deliberately out
- Synthetic fragrance. We wanted our homes to smell incredible. We just wanted that scent to come from essential oils rather than synthetic perfume.
- The chemical cloud. That overpowering hit you can almost taste after cleaning a bathroom? Not the kind of “clean” we were interested in creating.
- VOCs + EDCs. Our ingredient standard specifies formulas free from VOCs and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
- Single-use cleaning bottles. Keep the bottle. Replace the concentrate. Add your own water.
- Filler + theatre. We don’t need blue dye to convince you something cleans glass. If an ingredient doesn’t need to be there, we don’t want to add it for show.
Why use surfactants at all?
Because natural doesn’t get a free pass if it's not working.
We tried the natural cleaners that either didn't clean, didn't smell, were overpriced and left us scrubbing twice as hard. We didn’t want to make another one.

Surfactants lift grease. Alcohol helps cut through grime and dry surfaces quickly. Solubilisers keep our beautiful essential oils properly dispersed through the formula.

Why Go Nude started
We wanted to get the yucky stuff out of our homes without loading our homes and bodies with more things we were actively trying to avoid.
But we also wanted the bench streak-free. The bathroom properly clean. The floors fresh. And the laundry actually washed.
We wanted natural, low-tox cleaning that worked — and that left the house smelling like eucalyptus, citrus, lemon myrtle and local botanicals rather than synthetic fragrance. And we wanted it at a good price to make low-tox more accessible for everyone.
We think you should know what you’re cleaning your home with.
Look at the ingredients. Ask what creates the fragrance. Ask why a surfactant is there. Ask what an ingredient actually does.
And if a brand tells you something is “natural” or “non-toxic”, you should absolutely be allowed to ask what that means.
